Adrienne Warren anunció el día de hoy a los y las nominadas a los Tony 2022 y, sorpresa, A Strange Loop va a la delantera.
Ya se supo cuáles son los musicales favoritos de este año, y curiosamente el tan esperado, Six, no se acercó, ni con ocho nominaciones, a la cima de los Premios Tony 2022.
En su lugar, el musical queer sobre el fetichismo, body positive y racismo de la comunidad negra y gay, ganador del Pulitzer, es el que se coloca como el más nominado del año con 11 candidaturas encima, seguido muy de cerca por MJ, el musical de Michael Jackson y Paradise Square, cada una con 10 nominaciones.
¿La más ignorada? Funny Girl.
Las obras de texto, un poco más predecibles, se atiborraron de nominaciones para The Lehman Trilogy.
No sabemos quiénes y cuáles se llevarán el Tony 2022 hasta el 12 de Junio que Ariana DeBose tome el lugar de la host este año para entregar los premios más importantes del teatro en Nueva York desde el Radio City Music Hall.
